Editing a PDF document

Many online documents are in the form of a PDF file, opened usually with Acrobat Reader.  However, this does not automatically permit the document to be edited.

Word 2013 can open and edit PDF documents by converting them into Word documents whilst you edit.

To do this:

Open Word 2013

Use Open dialogue to find the downloaded PDF document.  It will open as a Word doc, as below.

Make edits as required, insert text etc.
Save the document as a Word document with .docx suffix, or again as a pdf, in a suitable location.
